Alexander called table work 'inhibition work'. Inhibition, or increasing the non-reactivity of the nervous system, is central to many systems of spiritual development. Table work gives us a chance to release unconscious chronic body tension and in the process discover a deeper, more integrated sense of self and presence.

In this workshop we will explore the flow of energy through the spine and head, mainly working in semi-supine on the table. We will combine Alexander principles with an understanding of the chakras as a way of working with psychological habits of use. This workshop is suitable for Alexander Teachers and Trainees.
