Ann Rhodes is a professor of vocal music who has been actively involved in the study and application of the Alexander Technique for over thirty years. She began formal study in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in the 1980's and continued her training in Leeds and York, England.
Dr. Rhodes received her AmSAT certification in 2006 from the training course in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the past fifteen years, Ann has specialized working with vocalists and instrumentalists at colleges and universities in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky. In addition, she has presented special workshops about the vocal process to Alexander Technique training programs in Cincinnati, Ohio, York, England, and Galway, Ireland. She has recently retired from teaching voice and Alexander Technique at Berea College in Berea, KY and maintains a private voice and Alexander studio in Berea
