Alexander Farkas completed his teacher training with Shoshana Kaminitz in 1998 and, having begun in 1991, holds the record for the longest period of Alexander study. He has had additional study with Patrick Macdonald, Margaret Goldie, and others.
Trained originally as a musician, much of his teaching is in the application of the AT to instrumental and vocal performance.
Alex is a frequent visitor to the UK and Europe where he is a guest at teacher training courses. He is currently on the faculty at the Bard College Conservatory of Music (US). A collection of his writings on the Alexander Technique will soon be appearing.
