David Moore is the director of the School for F.M. Alexander Studies in Melbourne, Australia.
Besides running the training course he teaches private lessons, runs a range of public workshops and courses and teaches the application of the Alexander Technique to yoga practice.
He graduated from the first Australian training in 1985 and worked in private practice in New Zealand and Melbourne till 1998 when he established the training school. In 2003 he gained accreditation for his course and for a government accredited Advanced Diploma of Alexander Technique Teaching.
He was chair of AUSTAT from 2007 - 2009 and chair of the training course board from 2003 - 2004.
He is passionate about the need for trainings to produce graduates who are confident and effective teachers and who can take the essential principles of Alexander's teachings to future generations.
