If you have ever had an experience when the harder you tried to work on something, the worse it got, then you know what it's like to End-gain. And those of us who are good at End-gaining can End-gain at anything - even the Alexander Technique! Although End-gaining is a frustrating way of working and keeps you from excelling at the activities that matter to you, it is also a reflection of some very useful personal qualities. This workshop explores issues that face those of us who are plagued with the persistent habit of End-gaining. Topics covered include how to recognize if you are End-gaining, how to find a Non-doing approach to activity and avoid frustration as you address the End-gaining habit, how to use your curiosity to identify the Means Whereby, and how to find the positive ‘Up’ side of working with the recovering Endgainer in you.
